Description
Cauti Uno is a lovingy restored farmhouse, originally built more than 200 years ago. It has a unique position in the middle of the mountains and the sea with spectecular views of the Mediterranean Sea.There is a solar heated pool in the garden as well as a barbecue and a wood burning stove, where bread and pizza can be prepared. The tasteful interieur consists of rustic furniture and antique decoration so that the house still provides the character of a well tended farm house. When renovated, also the bathrooms have been brought to the standard one would expect from a good holiday home.
The renown town of Altea attracts many tourists at this part of the Spanish cost, yet it has kept it's charm and seems untouched since decades. There is a vast choice of traditional restaurants offering fresh seafood and local cuisine found at the harbour as well as in the historic centre. Shops, bars and supermarkets provide everything one needs to have a pleasant holiday.
Only some 100 meters away from Cauti Uno there is a second house at the same standard, which can be rented either seperately or in common to accomodate groups of up to 20 persons.

Spain
Situated in the far southwestern corner of Europe, the Iberian Peninsula is a holiday country par excellence. In the interior, everchanging scenery, sites and monuments of which some are internationally known, and -picturesque villages and towns await the curious visitor.
Eating and Drinking
Meals are generally hearty and consist of 4 to 5 courses. Spanish cuisine is characterised by the use of olive oil and lots of garlic in the cooking. Along the coast, fish and seafood constitute the main courses, while in the hinterland, lamb, rabbit and other -meat dishes are generally served. "Tapas" (appetisers) are typically Spanish, served at all hours. Lunch is served between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm, dinner between 9 pm and 11 pm. Service is included, but it is common practice to leave a supplementary tip.
