The villa is surrounded by a property of 5000 hectares, with olive trees and vineyards and offers great views on the valley and the small town of Serravalle Pistoiese and its towers. It has a strategically location: extremely quiet position but at the same time only 7 km from the motorway exit mid way Lucca and Florence.
Wines and oil are produced inside the estate and it is possible for guests to taste them inside the old wine cellars located in the old farmhouses near the villa.
A new swimming pool sculpted in stone and located up on the hills facing a spectacular panorama of the countryside and the nature all around it. The pool dominates the valley and both the annex (at his left) and the villa (on the right).
The main villa is on 3 floors and is elegant furnished. On ground floor is located the studio and the old kitchen where guests may enjoy breakfast. In the old and restored stables guests can have a break or a lunch and diner with special recipes of the Tuscan tradition on request. On the first floor: sitting rooms and dining rooms have fine decorations: in particular the fully decorated "Hunting Salon" is very charming; a twin bedded room and toilet. On the second floor: The Hall of the Music welcome guests offering relax listening to the music or reading a magazine surrounded by the memoirs and reminiscences of the family archive. On the second floor are sleeping rooms: Two spacious suites and three bedrooms overview the enchanting panorama of the villa's gardens and the surrounding hills.
It is possible to rent the guest villa also. This villa contains a living with open kitchen and sofa bed for 2, double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
The villa and guest villa can accommodate 18 persons in total. Price on request.

Italy
Italy lies between the Alps, the Ionian Sea and Tyrrhenian Sea. This peninsula is -favourable for tailor-made holidays. It is a dreamland for lovers of art and -history, and also for sun seekers who will find bathing resorts -offering long sandy beaches with good infrastructure and modern facilities. The mountainous regions encourage nature lovers, walkers and mountaineers to plan and enjoy their own holidays.
Eating and Drinking
Each region takes pride in its own specialities. It is recommended to travel into the hinterland, away from tourist resorts in -order to taste all the different foods. In restaurants, you have to generally order a full course menu. For snacks, a trattoria, or -pizzeria can fulfil your appetite. Lunch is served between 12 noon and 2 pm, dinner from 7:30 pm. Service is included in the bill, but it is common practice to leave a supplementary tip. When leaving the -restaurant, you should keep the bill and receipt for up to 500 m from the restaurant, or else in case of a police control for fraud, you are liable to a fine of up to EUR 1,000.
Travelling by Car
The motorways are toll roads. On entering the country, at the border, you can purchase a pre-payment card that can be used at all the tollbooths. This will save you from constantly looking for small change. The speed limit is 130 km/h on motorways, 110 km/h on the "superstrada" (fast lanes), and 90 km/h on departmental roads. Seat belts are obligatory. Any violation of the law will entail a heavy fine.
