Description

The Club Royal La Tania chalets are set out in a wooden hamlet and have been built in traditional Savoyard style. Each chalet has it's own charm, with furnishings and fittings varying slightly from chalet to chalet. All are either on the pistes or very close by, offering you easy access to the whole of the Three Valleys. La Tania has a village atmosphere and it's shops, supermarket, restaurants and bars are all in a central pedestrianised area.
Distance to the lifts is from 100m to 500m, and distance to shops is from 150m to 400m.

Facilities
Chalets are either individual or twinned and are fully equipped with modern appliances. All kitchens have a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and oven; most of the chalets have a fireplace or Norwegian stove and a television. There is a parking near the chalet and further spaces a few hundred metres away, both open and covered, which need to be paid for.
Some chalets have sauna (with extra charge, on request), parking/garage, ski locker or disabled acces.
Please note that not all the chalets have the same facilities.

Chalet 7 rooms 13 persons (DGB) :
6 bedrooms with 1 double bed or 2 single beds, one of them with a 3rd bed, each bedroom with bathroom or shower and WC.

La Tania
Nestled between two hamlets at 1400 m, La Tania is situated in the heart of a vast spruce forest. La Tania is situated between Courchevel and Méribel, in the centre of the world's largest ski area, the Three Valleys, with 600 km of slopes for all kind of winter sports: BDD (bikes with 2 large wheels), snow raft, snow-bikes, snowshoe excursions, dog sledding, night skiing, climbing and go-kart on ice, sledge, surf... France

It is here where western, central and southern Europe unite with unique geographical features: the plains, water courses, lakes and marshland, hilly regions, forests, extinct volcanoes, snowy mountain peaks, long sandy beaches, and coastlines sometimes cut by steep cliffs.
The culture and history of each region is also just as diverse.

Eating and Drinking
Savoir-vivre is a way of life in France. Nowhere else is fine cuisine appreciated as much as in France. Each region has its own speciality.
The quality of wines is legendary and they are not necessarily expensive. Just ask for the house wine when you're dining out and you will not be disappointed.
Lunch is generally served between 12 noon and 2:30 pm; dinner, the main meal in France, is served around 8 pm. Service is included in the price, but it is common to leave a tip of about 10% if you have been satisfied with your meal.

Travelling by Car
France has a well-laid out network with national and departmental roads as well as toll motorways, which may be paid by credit card.
The speed limit on the motorways is 130 km/h (110 km in rainy weather), 110 km/h on national roads (100 km in rainy weather), 90 km/h on all other roads and 50 km/h in town.
Safety belts are obligatory in the front and rear of the vehicle.
