Description
This former farm built in 1832 is located in very quiet village a few kilometres from Vielsalm. The hilly region not only offers many walking and biking trails but also lots of other activities can be found: The Baraque de Fraiture ski pistes at 650 m altitude (13 km), the Doyards lake of Vielsalm (5 km), the tropical swimming pool of Sunpark which is open all year (7 km), the ostrich farm at Rencheux (7 km), the animal park of Grand-Halleux (10 km), the lake resort of Chérapont ideal for fishing (15 minutes drive) and the famous waterfalls of Coo resort park (20 km).

The house is semi-detached with a very quiet neighbour and has been entirely renovated. The house has two separate accommodations (for 5 and for 9 persons) each with their own entrance for optimal privacy. Both accommodations have a great view.
The accommodation on the garden side entrance is the 5 persons home. On the ground floor there is a living/dining room with an open kitchen, a bath room, a separate toilet, a bedroom with bunk bed and a fold-up bed. On the first floor you will find a double bed room.
The accommodation for 9 persons has its entrance in the back yard. On the first floor, there is a dining room with an open kitchen, a sitting area with TV and a separate toilet. On the second floor, there is a double bed bedroom, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a bed room with a single bed (110 X 180) and 4 single beds in a mezzanine, a bathroom with a bath/shower + toilet.
There is a car park for 3 cars in front of the garden and 1 car can be parked in the backyard.
Important Information
Our holiday houses are especially fitted up on receiving families. In the past there were unfortunately damages caused by groups with another composition then a family. That's why groups can only be allowed after consent of the owner.
When your group isn't (for the biggest part) a family and/or family members, we kindly ask you to report this by the reservation or to inform us via info@villaxl.com.

Finally, no list of Belgian gastronomy would be complete if we did not mention the hundreds of Belgian beers to be enjoyed, as well as the huge choice of cheeses to be found in Belgium.
Driving
Belgium has a vast network of motorways and secondary roads. Most motorways are lit at night. In built-up areas and villages, the speed limit is 30 to 70 km an hour, while the limit is 70 to 90 km an hour on secondary roads and 120 km an hour on motorways.
In addition, it is illegal to use a hand-held mobile phone when driving. Finally, seat belts must be worn in the front and rear of the vehicle.
