If you dream to discover the authentic atmosphere of living in a castle, Château de Bois St. Jean, is the perfect place for you! It is situated between La Roche and Baraque de Fraiture. The owner puts a part of the castle (350 m2) at your disposal. There are five large bedrooms, one of the bedrooms is a royal suite in the tower of the castle. You have a wonderful view on the surroundings and there are lots of bison’s on the domain. Other activities are among others the brewery of Achouffe, ruins of the castle La Roche. Beautiful walking routes over the hills and in the forests start from the castle.

Interior:
Ground floor:
Entrance hall with hat stand, living room with wood stove and television/DVD, dining area with a wood stove, practical kitchen, second small living room with wood stove, toilet.

First floor:
One bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom (wash-basin, bathtub, toilet).
One bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom (wash-basin, hip-bath). Separate toilet.

Second floor:
One royal suite with hall, one large bedroom with two single beds and a wood stove, one bathroom (small bathtub, wash-basin), separate toilet.
One bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom (wash-basin, bathtub, toilet).
One bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom (wash-basin, bathtub, toilet).

Surroundings:
The house is situated on a large domain in a quiet surrounding. Below the entrance of the house you find the terrace of 40 m2, facing south with garden furniture and barbecue. You also have access to the garden of 1000 m2 which is partly fenced and gives you a wonderful view.

Special remarks:
In winter or with bad weather you will be advised to take warm clothing with you because it can be very cool in the castle.
There are several lakes on the domain. Parents pay attention, look after your children!
In case of snowfall snow chains are necessary.

Our holiday houses are especially fitted up on receiving families. In the past there were unfortunately damages caused by groups with another composition then a family. That's why groups can only be allowed after consent of the owner.
