Description

This pleasant 150 m² holiday accommodation with a large 800 m² garden is located in the wing of a beautiful old farmhouse situated near Maredsous in the Dinant region. The cosy and comfortable drawing room invites you to spend the evenings in front of the fireplace. The house is also suitable for handicapped people.

The private garden offers a panoramic view of the surrounding country side. There is also a terrace facing south. The town of Maradous lies in the Dinant and Meuse region. The ruins of the castle of Montaigle are 0,8 km. away and the Abbey of Maredsous 4 km. The area offers many hiking possibilities, especial in the river valley of La Molignée.

It is also possible to rent the accommodation for 24 persons which is situated at the other side of the farmhouse, or rent the total farmhouse which accommodates 32. Each holiday accommodation has its private parking space and a private entrance to guarantee full privacy and tranquillity.

Interior:
Ground floor:
Drawing room with fireplace and TV, well equipped half open kitchen, dining area. Separate toilet. One bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom with shower and toilet is suitable for handicapped people.

First floor:
Two bedrooms each with two single beds, two single beds on the landing, two bathrooms with bathtub or shower and wash basin. Laundry facility with small washing machine. Separate toilet.

The single beds (200x80) can be arranged as double beds. All duvets are for one person (200x140) and the pillows are anti-allergic.

In addition to the 800 m² garden there is a 100 m² terrace facing south with a garden table and barbecue.

Our holiday houses are especially fitted up on receiving families. In the past there were unfortunately damages caused by groups with another composition then a family. That's why groups can only be allowed after consent of the owner.

Driving
Belgium has a vast network of motorways and secondary roads. Most motorways are lit at night. In built-up areas and villages, the speed limit is 30 to 70 km an hour, while the limit is 70 to 90 km an hour on secondary roads and 120 km an hour on motorways.
In addition, it is illegal to use a hand-held mobile phone when driving. Finally, seat belts must be worn in the front and rear of the vehicle.
