This house for 6 is situated on the magnificent estate of a former priory, dating back to 1188. The natural surroundings of the Gaume region remains unspoilt. In addition to its many hills and woods the river Semois flows through this area of natural beauty. The climate here is mild and pleasant. The interior of this home is warm, pleasant and decorated with classic furniture.

Interior:
Ground floor:
Entrance hall, living room with TV and reading corner, the dining room, and a well-equipped open kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with one double bed, private bathroom, and separate toilet.
First floor:
Two bedrooms with two single beds in each room, as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet.
The house has a private parking space and carport, a private terrace, and covered barbecue area. The view over the village of Muno is lovely and the area is very peaceful and serene. It is also possible to keep two horses in the adjacent meadow. The owners sell strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, red-white berries, and other fruits from their own garden. You are always welcome to help with the picking of the fruits and berries.
Activities and tourism:
A
wide choice of historic sights and activities, such as the many walking trails and, of course, climbing the "La Roche à l'Appel" which offers magnificent views of Belgium and even France.
Many villages (under the protection of the Department of the Historic Environment Buildings Bureau) like Chassepierre on the Semois, Frahan and Torgny in the midst of hectares of vineyards are in the vicinity.
The medieval fortress of Godfried van Bouillon on the Semois and the Abbey of Orval, famous for its cheese and Trappist beer, are all worth paying a visit.
France is nearby and also has many interesting, worthwhile places to visit, such as the walled centre of Montmédy Haut and the famous Basilica of Avioth.

Our holiday houses are especially fitted up on receiving families. In the past there were unfortunately damages caused by groups with another composition then a family. That's why groups can only be allowed after consent of the owner.

Finally, no list of Belgian gastronomy would be complete if we did not mention the hundreds of Belgian beers to be enjoyed, as well as the huge choice of cheeses to be found in Belgium.
Driving
Belgium has a vast network of motorways and secondary roads. Most motorways are lit at night. In built-up areas and villages, the speed limit is 30 to 70 km an hour, while the limit is 70 to 90 km an hour on secondary roads and 120 km an hour on motorways.
In addition, it is illegal to use a hand-held mobile phone when driving. Finally, seat belts must be worn in the front and rear of the vehicle.
