The villa is close to the medieval hilltop town of Motovun and the oak forests by the river Mirna. The area is famous for wines and truffles, so it is the real spot for gourmets. There is a riding stable nearby and the old railway path is very popular among mountain bikers and trekkers.
Accommodation
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, large living room with open fireplace and dining area, cloakroom and kitchen. Furthermore there is a twin single bedroom with en-suite shower room and a patio towards the acacia-tree park. The curved stairway within a stone tower (castle inspired) leads to the first floor. The ground floor has under floor heating.
On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with an open fireplace and en-suite bathroom and a spacious covered terrace with wonderful views. There is an other large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a large open terrace for private sunbathing. The first floor has central heating.
Exterior
There is a covered dining terrace with barbecue and bread/pizza oven and an antique 16th century sink, built from natural stone. There is a private pool, 11m.x 6m., with a pavilion and shower. The property consists of an acre of parkland and gardens, with more than 200 mature trees, including some ancient olive trees by the pool.
